AMD Ryzen 5 1600X performance Leak: Intel Should Be Worried

'We’re starting to get a clearer picture of just how fast AMD’s Ryzen processors will be thanks to a select few benchmarks leaks, and they’re painting a rather worrying picture for Intel.'

CPU-Z-Ryzen-Benchmark.png

'Why is this significant? Because the Ryzen 5 1600X is slated to retail at just $259, while Intel’s Core i7-6850K retails for a whopping $610. The two CPUs also offer similar specifications, with similar frequencies, 6 cores and 12 threads each, with the AMD processor having a maximum turbo frequency of 3.7GHz and the Intel chip of 3.8GHz.

Impressively, not only does the Ryzen 5 1600X beat the slightly higher-clocked Intel CPU, but it has a much lower TDP/power consumption of 95W compared to a TDP of 140W for the Intel Core i7-6850K, which should mean it runs cooler.'

Could've be much more cheap but I didn't had an objective to build cheap PC.

P.S. I guess I can make the final price aroud 1600 USD (1300 pounds) but lazy

P.S.S. As you can see my PC is much better for gaming. And who the hell need Wi-Fi card and soundboard? Are you musician? Also optical drive - nobody use it

If I replace videocard to 1070 - it'll fit :D But 1080 so much better.

No offence. I am just trying to say you could've get much better PC for nearly the same price.

A little explanations and examples of bad choice:

Motherboard very expensive, who need 8 slots for ram? You don't need it. I see it have internal Wi-Fi, so why you buy Wi-Fi card? There is PCI-E slots and other slots you'll never use, but price is high because of this.

Lazy to analyze and explain the rest..

Well actually yes, but who need fancy shit haha,̶ ̶o̶n̶l̶y̶ ̶b̶o̶y̶s̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶s̶m̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶d̶i̶c̶k̶.̶

If you buy car for racing - you choose fast car, not fancy.

Because if you look cool but can't win, what the point? photo-thumb-11245.jpg).

Same with gaming PC. Performance > Fanciness
